Dangote Refinery Sets To Distribute Petrol To Marketers On The 15th Of September
Dangote Refinery will start distributing its refined gasoline to retail locations throughout Nigeria on Sunday.
According to sources, despite the launch of its product, the price at the gas pump will not alter. It is anticipated that the first daily allotment will be 25 million liters, supplied to marketers for N765.99 via NNPC Trading Limited.
The source stated that “NNPC Trading Limited will continue to import a shortfall of 15 million liters to meet Nigeria’s daily demand for petrol, which is estimated to be between 40 and 50 million liters per day.”
“Each marketer will take up to 50 trucks per day; they will purchase through NNPC Trading Limited for N765.99, inclusive of their transportation expenses, and sell at the current pump price of N855 to N897, depending on the location per litre,” he continued.
