Four People Die Of Acute Diarrhoea In Yobe -CDC

Four deaths from severe diarrhea have been verified by the Yobe State Government in the Gujba Local Government Area.

Lawan Gana, the Commissioner of Health, revealed this to media on Monday in Damaturu. According to Mr. Gana, the illness was found in the Gujba Ward communities of Jangalawaji and Tadandara.

The commissioner claimed that both settlements were located in areas of the state devastated by recent flooding. He made note of the fact that victim samples were being gathered and examined.

Mr. Gana urged the people not to worry, saying that the administration was making every effort to resolve the issue.

He refuted reports of a cholera outbreak in the Gujba and Ngelzarma, stating that the disease’s emergence could only be confirmed by laboratory testing.
