Police Arrest Popular Celebrity Sean Combs In The US

Sean Combs, a well-known American artist better known by his stage name Diddy, was taken into custody in New York.

After a grand jury indictment, he was taken into custody by federal authorities in a Manhattan hotel on Monday night. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, blasted the US Attorney’s Office for what he saw as an unfair prosecution.

The musician had willingly flown to New York in anticipation of the charges, the artist’s attorney pointed out. “We are dissatisfied with the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s choice to press what we see to be an unfair prosecution of Combs.

“Sean Combs is a well-known musician, devoted husband and father, self-made businessman, and established philanthropist who has dedicated the last thirty years to creating a thriving empire and uplifting the Black community.

“He is not a criminal, but he is an imperfect person.”

To his credit, Mr. Combs moved willingly to New York a week ago in preparation for these allegations, and he has been cooperating with the inquiry. “He hopes to clear his name in court and believes that these are the acts of an innocent man,” he stated.
