INEC: Edo Election results
In a nail-biting electoral race, Edo State residents are waiting with bated breath as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) begins to unveil the results of the recent gubernatorial elections.
Tensions are high as the first batch of results from key local government areas (LGAs) trickle in. From Igueben to Esan North-East, Ovia South-West, Orhionmwon, and Etsako West, the numbers paint a picture of a fiercely contested election.
With the stakes high, all eyes are fixed on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and its rival, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as they jostle for supremacy in the state.
Despite strong showings by the APC in key LGAs, the PDP appears to be mounting a stiff challenge in some areas, with Esan Central and Esan North-East proving to be tough battleground
