Nigeria’s to Mark 64th Independence Anniversary with Low-Key Celebration -FG
Nigeria’s federal government has again opted for a muted celebration of its 64th independence anniversary, in light of the current economic situation in the country.
During a press briefing to unveil the official agenda for the commemoration, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was mindful of the hardships faced by Nigerians and thus approved a low-key celebration.
