Nigerians, already buckling under the weight of an unforgiving inflationary environment, have been left empty-handed by the government’s protracted and unfulfilled promise of a duty-free food import policy.
President Bola Tinubu’s words of hope, dangled like a carrot before the hunger-stricken masses, have proven to be nothing but a mirage.
