Nigerian women have been advised by Nollywood actress Jumoke George not to have Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery. Jumoke cautioned that women are needlessly endangering their lives in a post on her Instagram page.
Recall that Idara Bassey, a physician, was detained by the Lagos State Police Command on Thursday in relation to the death of Abiola, a 36-year-old woman, who was undergoing surgery to enlarge her butt.
In response to the event, Jumoke questioned whether the women who are participating in BBL are telling God that He was incompetent when He made them.
“Women, what color is our problem?” she wrote. Because I would be lying if I said I understood. According to the written words, all creatures were created in the likeness of the Almighty God. Looking at me, you women, in whose image do you believe you were created?
Are you implying to God that He lacked knowledge of His actions? God is faultless. So what are we trying to find? Although God has given some people extended lives, some have chosen to end their own lives.”
