Dangota Refinery Ready for Fuel Loading 300 NNPC trucks

In an unprecedented move, at least 300 trucks belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited have converged at the Dangote Refinery, as confirmed by NNPC spokesperson Olufemi Soneye.

This mass arrival of NNPC Ltd. trucks, announced via Soneye’s official social media handle, serves as a sign of the refinery’s readiness to commence fuel loading operations on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

The arrival of these trucks marks a significant step in the operationalization of the Dangote Refinery, which is poised to become one of the largest petroleum refining and petrochemical complexes in the world.

The refinery, located in the Ibeju-Lekki Free Trade Zone near Lagos, boasts a capacity of 650,000 barrels of oil per day, making it a significant contributor to Nigeria’s energy sector and economy.
