‘I miss the big European Finals’- Sir Alex Admits
Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary manager of Manchester United, has said that he misses his time spent in that role.
The 2012–2013 season saw the 82-year-old’s departure from the position of manager.
After leading United to their 13th Premier League title in his 27 years at Old Trafford, Ferguson announced his retirement. Since Ferguson left, Manchester United has had difficulty winning, with Manchester City dominating the league for the majority of the previous ten years.
When discussing life after retirement on BBC Breakfast, he commented, “Yeah, I miss it sometimes.” “I believe that the year I attended the European final following my retirement, I told Cathy, ‘This is what I miss.’ Big games, the European games.
“I found something I can connect to, something I would like to have done every day, so I went to most of the European finals.” “Because United should always be involved in these major events.”
