We are currently seeking to expand our team with the addition of an IT Auditor – Associate to support our growing portfolio of clients. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about IT auditing, risk management, and enhancing cybersecurity practices.

Job Summary:
The IT Auditor – Associate will play an essential role in supporting the execution of IT audits and governance reviews. This position will focus on IT risk management, security assessments, and identifying vulnerabilities in systems to mitigate potential security breaches. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Lead Auditor and will be responsible for executing audits on various IT processes and systems, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Planning and Execution:
    • Plan, execute, and manage IT audits in line with established audit protocols.
    • Conduct IT governance reviews to ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulations.
    • Work with the Lead Auditor to deliver comprehensive audit reports and action plans based on findings.
  • IT Risk Management:
    • Assess and report on IT risks within the organization, developing and recommending appropriate actions to mitigate identified risks.
    • Identify weaknesses in security systems and processes, recommending and implementing solutions to strengthen defenses against security breaches.
  • Audit Security Configurations and Controls:
    • Conduct audits on security configurations, authorization processes, and change control procedures across various clients’ systems and platforms.
    • Review application controls, ensuring they align with best practices for securing data and maintaining system integrity.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Collaborate with the Lead Auditor to plan and execute audit engagements effectively.
    • Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring that all audits are documented and tracked.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate existing IT and business processes, recommending changes to improve system workflows and ensure more effective controls.
    • Assist in process re-engineering efforts to align business and IT controls, enhancing efficiency and security.

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Education:
    • A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Certifications:
    • Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), ISO27001, and ITIL will be considered an advantage.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Strong knowledge of IT and business processes.
    • Solid experience in IT control audits and reviews.
    • Proficiency in application controls audit/review, ensuring the integrity of applications used across the business.
    • Ability to reconcile system workflows with business process workflows to ensure operational alignment and efficiency.
    • Strong understanding of technology platforms, operating systems, databases, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and change management processes.
    • Knowledge of information security best practices and techniques to mitigate risks and enhance security posture.
