MCI v ARS: Stones Salvages One Point In Stoppage Time For City
Following a 2-2 draw with Arsenal, Manchester City climbed up to the top of the Premier League standings on Saturday.
The ninth minute saw Erling Haaland give Man City the lead. But, a few minutes later, Arsenal’s Riccardo Calafiori handed the visitors a point back, and shortly before halftime, Gabriel Magalhães gave Mikel Arteta’s team the lead.
A red card was given to Leandro Trossard during the exchange. However, John Stones’ late goal in stoppage time made sure that both teams received a point.
With 13 points after five games, Man City is now atop the Premier League standings as a result of the outcome. Arsenal, meanwhile, slid to fourth place after playing the same number of games and earning 11 points.
