Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, the Chairman of the Silverbird Group, has declared that Nigeria will serve as the host country for the 2025 Miss Universe pageant in the event that Chidimma Adetshina, this year’s Miss Universe Nigeria, wins. Bruce promised that Silverbird Group, his company, would do everything in their power to ensure that Nigeria hosts the international beauty contest the next year in a message released on his X Twitter on Tuesday. He pledged that the difficulties encountered during their 2002 attempt to hold Miss World in Nigeria would never come up again. It was time, he said, for Nigeria to take back its proper place in the world arena.
Bruce stated: “The Silverbird Group will spare no expense or effort to bring the next Miss Universe pageant to Nigeria in 2025, so rest assured if Chidimma Adetshina wins the @MissUniverse title. Those who recall our 2002 attempt to host Miss World in Nigeria are aware of the difficulties we had. We have learned from the past. To be clear, though, nothing will happen again exactly like it did then. There is nothing on earth that can stop Nigeria from taking back its proper position in the world arena.
