Ondo Governorship Poll Postponed – PDP

In a decisive move, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has pushed back their National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, originally scheduled for tomorrow, in a push to prioritize unity and ensure a strong showing in the Ondo gubernatorial elections set to take place on November 16, 2024.

The postponement was made after an enlarged meeting of key stakeholders from various parts of the party, including the Governors’ Forum, Board of Trustees (BoT), National Working Committee (NWC), National Assembly Caucus, and Forum of former Governors.

With this rescheduling of the NEC meeting, the PDP hopes to concentrate their efforts on galvanizing their members and supporters in Ondo state, focusing on presenting a unified front and maximizing their chances of success in the upcoming gubernatorial elections.

The postponement highlights the importance of strategic planning and coordination within the party, as they seek to demonstrate their capabilities and commitment to the people of Ondo state.

The party, which has been reeling from recent setbacks, is determined to showcase its strengths and forge a new path towards victory, emphasizing the importance of collective action and cooperation in the pursuit of their political goals.
