Police Recovers Many Phones In Kano State, Arrest Over 20 Criminals
The command’s spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, added in a statement that further things found included laptops, guns, and drugs that had been misused.
He said that the operations that resulted in the arrests of the suspects were conducted between September 1 and September 12, 2024, with the intention of resolving the threat of cell phone snatching and robbery that plagues certain areas of the state’s capital.
According to Kiyawa, following an investigation and appropriate identification and verification, the recovered phones would be given to their owners, while the suspects would face charges in court.
