Role Overview
The School Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role is crucial in upholding the school’s commitment to excellence and ensuring that all facilities are well-kept and conducive to learning.
Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas on a daily schedule.

Ensure proper collection and disposal of waste to maintain a hygienic campus.

Support in setting up classrooms, assembly halls, and school facilities for daily operations and events.

Monitor and manage cleaning materials and supplies, reporting restock needs promptly.

Follow all safety and hygiene protocols in compliance with the school’s operational standards.

Conduct light outdoor cleaning and maintenance to keep the school grounds tidy.

Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure all areas are well-maintained and welcoming.
Requirements

Minimum of SSCE qualification.

Previous experience in janitorial, cleaning, or facility maintenance work is an added advantage but not mandatory.

Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Good physical stamina and attention to detail.

Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and honesty.
