Job Summary
The Warehouse / Store Officer will play a key role in the daily operations of the company’s warehouse. The position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock control within a pharmaceutical distribution environment.
Successful candidates will be responsible for receiving goods from vendors, managing warehouse stock levels, replenishing shop floor inventory, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date stock records. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and strict adherence to company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Warehouse / Store Officer will maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely replenishment of stock to avoid shortages. All documentation related to goods received and dispatched must be properly processed, labeled, and distributed to relevant departments in a timely manner.
You will ensure that stock is properly arranged to allow for easy identification, physical counting, and periodic stock-taking exercises. This includes continuous replenishment of shop floor stock and effective management of both inbound and outbound product movements.
The role also involves issuing materials against authorized store requisitions and maintaining proper store records. Monthly warehouse activity reports, including stock inventory levels and pallet usage in both internal and external warehouses, must be prepared and submitted as required.
The Warehouse / Store Officer will conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile them with system records, and provide clear explanations for any variances identified. Compliance with company policies, internal systems, and pharmaceutical industry standards is mandatory at all times.
Requirements
Applicants should possess a National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of two years’ relevant experience. Previous experience in a warehouse or retail store environment will be an added advantage.
Candidates must be between 24 and 38 years of age and demonstrate a high level of integrity and reliability. The role requires physical strength, as it involves carrying, lifting, and moving stock within the warehouse.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with good attention to detail, are essential for success in this position. Proximity to Surulere, Ojuelegba, Yaba, Ajegunle, Apapa, Mushin, or Fadeyi is highly preferred, as candidates are expected to reside within or close to these areas.
Salary
N100,000 – N140,000 per month.
