Elizabeth Maddeux Limited, a leading provider of comprehensive HR solutions, is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Factory Accountant to support financial operations within its FMCG production facility. The role is vital to maintaining accurate financial records, controlling production costs, and ensuring full compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Job Overview
The ideal candidate will manage cost accounting, inventory control, financial reporting, and support overall factory financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate factory financial records and prepare timely management reports.

Monitor production costs, analyze variances, and recommend cost-saving strategies.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Oversee inventory management, stock valuation, and reconciliation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and company policies.

Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to improve financial operations.

Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.

Conduct financial analysis to guide pricing, production, and resource allocation decisions.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3–5 years of accounting experience in FMCG or manufacturing (mandatory).

Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.

Proficiency in SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar software.

Solid understanding of IFRS and Nigerian tax laws.

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
-
ICAN/ACCA certification is an added advantage.
