Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting management with data-driven financial decisions. The role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, monitoring operational costs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to improved profitability and efficiency within a hospitality and food production environment.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports

Monitor revenue from food sales, beverages, events, and other related services

Reconcile bank statements, POS transactions, and internal financial records

Manage payroll processing and employee-related financial documentation
-
Track expenses, inventory usage, and supplier invoices to support cost control

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and internal control policies

Work closely with management and department heads to analyze financial performance

Support external auditors and regulatory inspections when required

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality or food and beverage sector

Good knowledge of hospitality revenue streams and cost structures

Familiarity with local tax laws, payroll regulations, and compliance requirements
Required Skills

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Experience with accounting software, POS systems, and Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Solid understanding of cost control in food and beverage operations
Salary
₦250,000 – ₦500,000 per month.
