About the Role
The Coldroom Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of coldroom and refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will ensure that all cold storage facilities operate at optimal efficiency, meet temperature requirements, and comply with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair coldroom and refrigeration systems

Carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance on coldroom units

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and recommend effective solutions

Monitor temperature controls to ensure consistent and safe storage conditions

Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory

Ensure compliance with company procedures and health and safety standards

Provide prompt technical support during equipment breakdowns or emergencies

Work independently or as part of a team to minimize downtime and operational disruptions
Requirements

Minimum of 3–5 years proven experience as a Coldroom or Refrigeration Technician

Age range: 25–35 years

Technical certification or diploma in Refrigeration, Cooling Systems, or a related discipline

Strong knowledge of coldroom systems, compressors, condensers, and electrical components

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics

Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to technical issues
Salary:
₦200,000 per month
