Job Title: CCTV Operator
Locations: Wuse, Gwarinpa, Jahi, Gudu, Lokogoma, Mabushi – Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary
The CCTV Operator will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the company’s surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of staff, customers, and property. The role requires keen observation, attention to detail, and the ability to respond swiftly to potential security threats or incidents.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and operate CCTV systems and security equipment according to company procedures.

Observe and report any suspicious, criminal, or unsafe activities to the Security Supervisor or relevant authorities.

Keep accurate logs and records of surveillance activities, incidents, and maintenance reports.

Conduct routine system checks to ensure cameras and recording systems are fully functional.

Retrieve, review, and secure recorded footage for investigations and evidence when required.

Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold data protection standards at all times.

Assist in coordinating emergency responses and incident management efforts.

Liaise with law enforcement agencies and internal management as needed.

Participate in regular audits, training sessions, and operational briefings to ensure security compliance.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

Prior experience as a CCTV Operator or in a security-related role is an advantage.

Familiarity with digital and network-based surveillance systems.

Solid understanding of security operations and incident reporting procedures.

Working Conditions

Work is primarily office-based in a secure control room.

Shift work is required, including weekends and public holidays.

Must remain vigilant and attentive for extended periods during surveillance operations.
