As part of its growth strategy, the company is seeking three Electrical Engineers (Instrumentation & Control) to work onsite in Abuja, Ibeju-Lekki (Lagos), and Delta State.
Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer (Instrumentation & Control) will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical and control systems, with a focus on innovation and system optimization. The role involves contributing to research-driven projects that apply artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics to improve electrical and industrial systems, particularly within upstream oil and gas and related sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test electrical and instrumentation systems in line with project specifications.

Integrate AI techniques such as machine learning and pattern recognition into electrical engineering solutions.

Develop and program electronic circuits using Arduino and other microcontroller platforms.

Design and optimize printed circuit boards (PCBs) using standard industry tools.

Produce electrical schematics and system layouts using AutoCAD.

Analyze and visualize data using Power BI to support engineering decisions.

Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other technical teams to ensure system integration.

Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering, AI, and industrial automation technologies.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with First Class or Second Class Upper (2:1) qualification (Master’s degree is an advantage).

Proven knowledge or experience in AI applications, including machine learning and pattern recognition.

Strong skills in Arduino programming, circuit design, and PCB development.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Power BI.

Excellent problem-solving ability and strong communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, research-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills

Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar simulation tools.

Knowledge of IoT systems and hardware integration.

Understanding of electrical safety standards and industry regulations.

Practical, hands-on experience with hardware prototyping and testing.
