Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Ije-Ododo, Ijegun, Off Ikotun Road, Lagos
Accommodation: Light accommodation available within the school premises
Key Responsibilities

Teach History effectively across assigned classes in line with approved curricula

Prepare detailed lesson plans and engaging teaching materials

Deliver lessons that encourage critical thinking and active student participation

Assess, evaluate, and monitor students’ academic performance regularly
-
Prepare students adequately for external examinations, including WAEC and NECO
-
Maintain accurate academic records and provide feedback on students’ progress
-
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

Uphold the school’s academic standards and code of conduct
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.Ed) in History or a closely related discipline
-
Minimum of four (4) years teaching experience
-
Strong knowledge of WAEC and NECO History syllabi and examination standards

Excellent lesson planning and classroom management skills
-
Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students of varying learning abilities

Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
