Job Summary
The Finance Associate will handle day-to-day financial operations, manage multi-currency accounts, and support international clients—especially those in the UK shortlet and hospitality industry. The ideal candidate must be detail-driven, experienced with global financial systems, and capable of preparing accurate financial reports in line with international standards.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily financial transactions and reconciliations across GBP, USD, NGN and other currencies.

Maintain accurate financial records for UK-based and global clients.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following international accounting standards.

Oversee invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and cashflow for international clients.

Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, client requirements, and global accounting practices.

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely financial reporting.

Track and analyze revenue, expenses, and profitability across different accounts.

Deliver relevant financial insights to support management decision-making.

Requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification is an added advantage.

3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.

Strong understanding of multi-currency accounting and international payment systems.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple client portfolios.
Desirable Skills

Experience with UK clients or platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.

Proficiency in tools such as Hostex, Tableau, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage.

Experience managing finances for shortlet or hospitality businesses.
