Job Overview

The Draftsman will be responsible for producing precise technical drawings, layouts, and visual representations to support engineering, construction, and project execution activities. The role requires close collaboration with engineers, architects, project managers, and site teams to ensure all drawings meet design intent, regulatory standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, schematics, and project plans.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to interpret design requirements accurately.

• Revise and update drawings based on project changes, site feedback, and engineering comments.

• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.

• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and related documentation with proper version control.

• Assist with site measurements, inspections, and verification of technical details when required.

• Support project teams with 2D and 3D visual presentations, models, and technical illustrations.

• Prepare accurate as-built drawings upon project completion.

• Coordinate with procurement teams to confirm that material specifications align with design intent.

• Perform quality checks on all drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, or related industries.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar drafting software.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Salary: N250,000 per month
