Job Summary
The Facility Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, safety, and functionality of all facilities, equipment, and utilities. The role requires a technically competent professional with extensive hands-on experience in facility management, preferably within a hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operation and maintenance of buildings, utilities, and infrastructure
Ensure continuous availability of power, water, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and building services
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
Supervise maintenance technicians and external service providers
Manage electrical systems including generators, UPS, inverters, switchgear, and power distribution
Oversee mechanical systems such as HVAC, kitchen equipment, pumps, and plumbing installations
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
Ensure compliance with safety, engineering, and environmental regulations
Maintain an updated register of all facility assets and equipment
Ensure facilities are safe, functional, and event-ready at all times
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years’ hands-on experience in general facility management
Experience managing facilities in hospitality or commercial environments
Strong practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building systems
