Job Summary
Our client, a top-tier furniture and home-living brand, is seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join their team in Victoria Island. The ideal candidate will engage walk-in customers, understand their preferences, and recommend premium furniture and décor products that enhance their living spaces. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong product knowledge, and the ability to consistently meet sales targets while delivering memorable customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.

Identify customer needs and recommend suitable furniture and home accessories.

Maintain an in-depth understanding of products, features, and pricing.

Stay updated on industry trends and competitors’ offerings.

Achieve monthly sales targets through effective selling techniques.

Apply upselling and cross-selling strategies to maximize sales.

Handle orders, payments, exchanges, and returns accurately using the POS system.

Follow up on customer purchases to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

Monitor showroom stock levels and report discrepancies.

Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Collaborate with the Sales Manager and team members to improve sales performance.

Maintain accurate sales documentation and update the CRM system promptly.

Qualifications

HND or equivalent; additional training in sales or marketing is a plus.

1–2 years’ experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in furniture, décor, or home-living products.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Strong sales abilities with a customer-first approach.

Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office.

Good organizational and time-management skills.
Physical Requirements

Salary

N130,000 monthly
-
Plus commission on furniture sales
