Job Title: Inventory Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to manage and maintain our inventory systems effectively. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal stock levels, support smooth supply chain operations, and prevent shortages or excesses. This role requires collaboration with the procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to keep operations efficient and accurate.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, tracking, and issuing products.

Monitor stock levels to ensure availability and prevent overstocking or shortages.

Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast inventory needs and maintain adequate stock levels.

Implement and enforce inventory control procedures, including periodic physical counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.

Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP and spreadsheet tools.

Prepare and present inventory reports on stock status, turnover rates, and trends.

Analyze inventory data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

Ensure all products are stored properly in compliance with company standards and safety policies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Proficiency in inventory management software (ERP) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.

Knowledge of supply chain principles and warehouse operations.

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
