Role Summary
The Director, Command & Coordination will oversee the full operational landscape of the institution’s National Digital Situation Room. This role requires strong leadership, real-time decision-making, and the ability to manage intelligence flow, crisis escalation, and inter-agency coordination within a 24/7 command environment.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the National Digital Situation Room.

Supervise analysts, monitoring teams, and technical personnel across all shifts.

Lead the institution’s morning, midday, and evening command cycles.

Ensure timely intelligence dissemination to the Presidency, EFCC, NITDA, ONSA, and other MDAs.

Direct crisis escalation protocols and coordinate emergency responses.

Maintain and update situational awareness dashboards.

Review and approve situation reports, daily summaries, and weekly briefings.

Drive execution and monitoring of the 12-week master work plan.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Security Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

8–12 years of experience in operations, intelligence, crisis management, or strategic coordination.

Strong command decision-making skills, especially under pressure.

Experience with high-level reporting, intelligence systems, and inter-agency collaboration.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
