Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred earlier this week when DJ Chicken’s vehicle allegedly collided with a motorcycle carrying a rider and a female passenger. The motorcycle rider was knocked to the ground and the woman sustained visible injuries, according to people who gathered at the scene. Multiple short clips shared online show the injured passenger in evident pain while passersby cluster around her.
One of the earliest clips, posted on X by an influencer identified as Oyindamola, shows DJ Chicken speaking to the injured woman and urging her to stand. The footage attracted immediate criticism from viewers who described the appeal as insensitive given the woman’s condition. Within minutes, local youths who had descended on the scene began confronting the entertainer, accusing him of reckless driving and perceived arrogance. In another video — recorded on several phones and re-posted widely — a group of men orders DJ Chicken to sit on the road. After an initial refusal, at least one man is seen slapping him; DJ Chicken then sits down as the crowd watches.
