Peter Obi Endorses Dr. Moses Paul as Ndidi Mbagwu Praises His Leadership Capacity
Ndidi Mbagwu, a renowned good governance advocate and Director at the Free Nigeria Foundation, has endorsed Dr. Moses Paul, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate in the forthcoming Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) election, describing him as a leader ready to bring light, transformation, and accountability to AMAC.
In a statement issued ahead of the election, Mbagwu urged residents of the Federal Capital Territory to rally behind Dr. Paul, emphasizing that his academic excellence, community engagement, and humility set him apart from other contenders.
She noted that Dr. Moses, who holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Resource Management from the University of Abuja, has lived most of his life within the capital city and deeply understands the everyday struggles of AMAC residents.
“Dr. Moses Paul is not just highly educated; he’s also deeply connected to the grassroots. He listens, engages, and feels the pulse of the people,” Mbagwu said. “He’s approachable, humble, eloquent, and calm — yet firm when defending truth and justice.”
Highlighting his commitment to dialogue and inclusive governance, Mbagwu described Dr. Moses as a man of integrity who opens his doors for public conversations on how to raise governance standards. She recalled that his rare outbursts were during the 2023 nationwide protest over alleged electoral injustices — a testament to his passion for justice and people’s welfare.
Mbagwu, who also serves as the Treasurer of the Obidient Movement Worldwide, stated that a vote for Dr. Moses Paul would signal renewed hope for quality education, environmental reform, better healthcare, cleaner water systems, job creation for youths, and extensive infrastructure across AMAC.
“A vote for Dr. Mo is a vote for a cleaner, safer, and more developed AMAC. His leadership is about service, not power,” she added.
Dr. Paul’s candidacy has also received the endorsement of Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, who expressed confidence in his capacity to deliver people-oriented governance rooted in transparency, discipline, and compassion.
Political observers note that Obi’s endorsement further strengthens Dr. Paul’s campaign among Abuja’s youth population and members of the Obidient Movement, who see him as a continuation of the reform-driven political ideology.
As election day draws closer, Dr. Moses Paul’s message of transformation and people-centered leadership continues to gain traction among residents of AMAC, many of whom are calling for a new era of governance anchored on integrity, accessibility, and accountability.
