Job Title: Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Location: Lagos

Role Summary
The Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist will provide expert clinical care across obstetrics and gynaecology, manage routine and complex cases, and contribute to the hospital’s commitment to excellent patient outcomes, training, and service development.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services.
Perform and supervise surgical and non-surgical gynaecological procedures.
Manage high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric and gynaecological cases.
Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient reviews, ward rounds, and emergency consultations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in line with professional and regulatory standards.
Participate in clinical audits, research activities, training, and hospital development initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
MBBS or MBChB from a recognised medical institution.
Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCOG), or an equivalent qualification.
Full registration and current practising licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Minimum of two (2) years post-fellowship experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology is preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in managing obstetric emergencies and advanced gynaecological procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development.
Female candidates are preferred to support gender balance within the clinical team.
