Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve automation failures involving PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors, transmitters, analyzers, and control loops.

• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for electrical and automation equipment.

• Support modifications to PLC programs, verify interlock logic, and contribute to process optimization activities.

• Ensure efficient operation of MCCs, PCCs, transformers, VFDs, and overall power distribution infrastructure.

• Interpret and review wiring diagrams, PLC schematics, loop drawings, and SCADA network architecture.

• Plan, manage, and track spare parts for automation hardware, including PLC modules, drives, transmitters, and sensors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within edible refineries, solvent extraction plants, FMCG, or similar process-driven industries.

• Hands-on experience in edible oil refineries, solvent extraction, grain processing, breweries, or FMCG environments is essential.

• Exposure to gas power plants, diesel generator sets, boiler control systems, water treatment plants (WTP), effluent treatment plants (ETP), and automated packaging lines.
