The company is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Team Lead (Boiler)
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily boiler operations, including Gas-Fired and Waste Heat Recovery boilers, to ensure continuous and efficient steam generation in line with plant requirements

  • Monitor critical boiler parameters, analyze operational data, and diagnose faults for effective troubleshooting and resolution

  • Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including accurate documentation of fuel (diesel) consumption, water treatment processes, and emissions

  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of critical boiler spares at all times

  • Oversee boiler water treatment processes, chemical dosing, and blowdown practices to maintain system efficiency and safety

  • Supervise boiler operators across multiple shifts, providing on-the-job training and supporting continuous competency development

  • Collaborate closely with the Utility and Power House teams to optimize boiler operations and promptly identify and arrest steam leakages

  • Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting activities on the Water Treatment Plant to ensure reliable water supply for boiler operations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Valid Boiler Operation Engineer Certificate approved by the Director of Factories, Nigeria

  • Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in a supervisory or shift-in-charge role within boiler operations and power plant environments
