Job Overview
Vodstra Limited seeks an experienced professional to lead its team of truck drivers. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership abilities, in-depth knowledge of logistics operations, and firsthand experience as a truck driver. The role involves managing transport operations, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods across various routes.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate, and mentor a team of truck drivers across different routes and destinations.

Develop and optimize route plans to improve delivery efficiency and reduce downtime.

Monitor vehicle conditions and oversee routine maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.

Enforce all safety regulations, road laws, and company compliance policies.

Conduct performance reviews and training programs to enhance driver productivity and discipline.

Collaborate with logistics and operations departments to ensure smooth transportation and timely service delivery.

Maintain accurate records of driver schedules, fuel usage, and route performance.
Candidate Requirements

Minimum of NCE, OND, HND, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree from an accredited institution.

At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a truck driver.

Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience overseeing truck or fleet drivers.

Sound knowledge of truck mechanics and heavy-duty vehicle operations.

Excellent understanding of regional and national road networks.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Proven ability to enforce discipline and motivate large driver teams.
